Counselling and Psychotherapy is an independent service to everyone.
There are a variety of reasons why people come to counselling or psychotherapy. We all throughout our lives face difficult and challenging times and for some having additional support is all that is needed.
I am a Human Givens Therapist Practioner (HG Dip.P) and a Mental Health First Aider offering Counselling & Psychotherapy. I offer a safe place for you to unburden those concerns, voice your fears, anger, frustration, or tears, at your own pace in a confidential, non-judgemental, and relaxed environment. I have experience in treating clients from all walks of life, adults, children, and couples who have had a variety of difficulties, such as depression, anxiety, stress, OCD, PTSD, self-harm, trauma, and abuse. My aim is to help you make sense of your feelings and help you move on in your life, to release those blockages, and to help recognise your full potential.

About Human Givens
Human Givens is a holistic solution-focused approach to therapy. It is based on psychology, scientific research, a range of counselling and psychotherapy models of therapy to understand the way individuals and society work and provide techniques that are most effective. It is based on an individual’s emotional needs and their natural resources that they are born with. Providing a person can ensure their innate needs are balanced and maintained will help them retain good mental and physical health.
As a Human Givens Therapist, I concentrate on issues that prevent us from moving forward, not reliving on past traumas that can cause a person to be re-traumatised repeatedly. The techniques are effective in providing quick relief from emotional distress, release those feeling of being stuck, address trauma in a quick and safe method and help to provide clarity and direction.
Every individual is different, but a Human Givens Therapist are trained to deal with all types of mental distress and will endevour to help clients to make considerable progress, explore their own self-awareness, improve their mental health in as few sessions as possible.
I hold a current, enhanced DBS disclosure certificate as well as being registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office regarding data protection. As a member of the Human Givens Institute (MHGI), I work in accordance with their code of ethics and professional conduct policies The Human Givens Institute is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
